3.3 – Tea Cup Shapes

The ideal cup shape for tea readings is the gently sloping tea cup with a wide mouth to see the tea leaves easier. These are wider at the top than the base. The straight sided or big bulb at the bottom tend not to allow the tea leaves to spread and swirl properly so they usually clump in the bottom or in the bottom corner. At a pinch you can use these, but the first type is preferred.
